| The Insititute, the Official
School of the Limón Dance Company, offers open classes
in Limón Technique on an ongoing basis. The Limón
Technique emphasizes the natural rhythms of fall and recovery
and the interplay between weight and weightlessness to provide
dancers with an organic approach to movement that easily adapts
to a range of choreographic styles. The faculty includes former
and current members of the Company and artists affiliated with
the Limón aesthetic, and each class is accompanied by
live music. |
