Limón
Leaps Into Spring!
The
Limón Dance Company was busy this spring dancing their
way across the Unites States
and
Europe. The season kicked-off in February with a successful
five
city tour to sunny Florida with stops in Hollywood, Key West,
Lakeland, Lake Worth, and Melbourne. In March, the Company
headed to Italy for performances in Reggio Calabria, Vicenza,
Vittorio Veneto, Casal Maggiore, and Torino, which was followed
by sold out performances in Hanover and Munich, Germany for
Ballet Week 2005. The Company then toured to four cities
in Kansas, California, and Alaska which culminated with our
return to Germany to perform at the Oldenburg Festival. Check
out the side bar for our upcoming performances.

in Residence at Peridance
On
Saturday, February 28th, the José Limón
Dance Foundation hosted a farewell party for friends and family in
honor of the past decade at their home in SoHo. After
10 successful years, the Company joined a long list of
non-profits searching for affordable space to reduce overhead
costs. We are pleased to announce that the administrative
offices are now located at 307 W. 38th Street at 8th
Avenue and the Limón School is in residence with Peridance
Center. The entire faculty including Alan Danielson,
Risa Steinberg, and Geraldine Cardiel, will continue
to offer daily open technique classes in a great new location.
Guest teachers will include Betty Jones, Roxanne D'Orleans
Juste, and Company Artistic Director, Carla Maxwell.
Peridance Center International Dance School is a preeminent
facility which includes locker rooms, showers, and warm up
area. It is conveniently located at 123 4th Avenue at
