NEW YORK CITY
HUNTER COLLEGE
July 7 - 18
Participants in this workshop experience the Limón material from four different perspectives, studying the technique, the style and the repertory, and examining the intentions behind the movement in Elements of Performance, the why’s and how’s of performing a given piece.
In Teaching Methodology a spectrum of issues are covered to help synthesize the skills needed to be an effective teacher. Careful attention is paid to vocabulary as well as basic elements common to all styles and techniques. The seminar format encourages teachers to develop a critical eye, and the ability to articulate corrections that address students’ specific problems.
Full Program Tuition $625
