- Tues-Fri only , 12:00-1:00pm Each day begins with
technique class based on the key elements of the Humphrey/Limón tradition.
The workshops then focus on phrase material from one of José Limón’s final works ‘Waldstein Sonata’ and dancers gain
first-hand experience of the relationship between technique and interpretation.
Risa Steinberg, a
prominent member of the dance community for over thirty years, is
internationally known as a solo artist, teacher, rehearsal coach, and director
of the works of JoséLimón. She has performed
and taught extensively throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East
and Asia. She is presently a Master teacher at the Limon Institute in New York
